Physiotherapy at Home

If you are unable to come to the practice, the physiotherapist can come to your home.
You can think of the following treatments:

- Help with General Daily Tasks
Advise and help with walking safely, getting in and out of bed, climbing stairs.

- Muscle related problems
All problems for which you normally also would go to the physiotherapist.

- Mobility issues
For example, you can no longer easily reach the top kitchen cupboard or tie you shoelaces. The physiotherapist can advise, give exercises or mobilize the joints and soft tissue to improve joint mobility.

- Gait training exercises
The quality of walking is important to be able to function independently. The physiotherapist looks at the gait pattern. With the help of a gait analysis the physiotherapist can find out where you can make profit from walking. The physiotherapist will discuss this with you and will give you exercises to improve the quality of your walking.

- Fall prevention
As we get older, the greater the risk of falling by alteration to gait, balance and mobility or muscle weakness. The physiotherapist will give you exercises to reduce the fall risk.

- Post orthopedic surgery
Think about a total knee or total hip replacement. The physioterapist wil give you exercises to improve mobility and strength.
